                 The Screw is a type of fastener, which is usually made from metal that commonly comprises a head at one end, a point at the other, and a shaft shape so that it can be turned into another material. The head of the screw is usually larger than the body of the screw, which keeps it from being driven deeper than the length of the screw and provides a bearing surface. The cylindrical portion of the screws from the underside of its head to the tip is called the shank.
